We want to share our praise of the Lord Jesus Christ, as He is an all-consuming fire. We praise Him, who created day and night. He never sleeps or tires, so we can trust that He is always with us, and that He sees us. We pray that He ignites the flame in our hearts so that we can shine brightly for the world to see. Fire represents that relevance to culture is not optional. We shine brightly for the world only because of Jesus, and what He’s done for us. We praise Him with this song, and we ask that He wakes us up with a passion for Him. That is our song. He is the one who creates beauty, and allows us to praise Him with our song.
