Stand up, My Seeds by Christina Kuok, Lao Si Kei, Cheang Pui U, CaiYunTing

During the pandemic, while staying at home, I had a sudden inspiration to create a small story together with animation students. We combined scripture and characters with everyday life and illustrated them. We then shared them online to support our fellow church members and friends. These seeds were sown at the end of November 2020, and by integrating scripture into daily life through illustrations, we aimed to express that the Lord is always with us.

“Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23)

But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.(Galatians 6:14)

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” (John 8:12)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1Peter 2:9)
