9.9.2023 Recap for Presence’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and Mental Health Awareness Day
Presence celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a Thanksgiving Luncheon held at Almansor Court in Alhambra on September 9th, 2023. Praise the Lord that the event hosted about 300 guests including 8 local, state and federal US government officials along with many Christian and community counseling providers and professionals! Right after the luncheon, we hosted a free Mental Health Awareness event to raise public awareness about the importance of reducing mental health stigma and enhancing prevention for the Chinese community. This event contained two parts – panel discussion and information booth exhibition. Over 200 people attended this event, and the response was very positive!
