Dr. Agnes Ip, Ph.D., LMFT

Founder & CEO

Dr. Agnes Ip is the Founder and CEO of Presence, a California licensed marriage and family therapist, trainer and coach. She graduated from Alliance Bible Seminary and received her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in multicultural community clinical psychology at Alliant International University (AIU). In her earlier years, she was a church minister in Hong Kong and later served as a mental health therapist for government subsidized outpatient clinics. In recent years, Agnes has provided clinical guidance for marriage & family therapist trainees and interns from various universities. She and her husband Benny have been married for over 25 years and have two adult children.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the mental health profession and interned at local public schools, domestic violence shelters, and drug addiction rehabilitation centers in the U.S. She has also performed psychological assessments for abused children at a government hospital. Additionally, she trains and coaches couples and families, professionals, small businesses, and organizations. She has trained professionals on how to resolve interpersonal conflict and how to work with difficult people, and has coached business owners and high-level executives in human resource management. She has coached professionals in the marketplace as well as church and pastoral staff workers.

Dr. Agnes is a sought-after speaker and trainer for seminars and conferences on parenting, personal growth, professional psychology and counseling and has been often interviewed by the media. She has been referred to as the “Blessings Therapist” by Good TV in Taiwan.

Over the past ten years, Dr. Agnes has been passionate about nurturing the next generation to serve in their families, workplaces, and current cultural context. She has developed an assertive communication training curriculum for parents and children and published three training books on the topic. She has also produced a booklet for families entitled, “Essential Concepts of Wise Parenting,” and acts as the Editorial Director for the Presence Family Magazine, for which she frequently writes articles on mental health, family values, youth and culture. Joanne Wong

Director of Public Relations & Ministry Coordinator

Before becoming a full-time staff of Presence in 2012, Joanne worked in a variety of fields including, advertising, media, marketing, law enforcement, property management and finance. Her diverse background brings a lot of support to Presence. Now she helps to supervise and coordinate all the various ministries of the organization. Outside of work, she enjoys creating evangelical productions in musical and theatrical, reading, writing, going on mission trips, and teaching children Sunday school.

Vanessa Lai

HR Director & Presence Possibilities Program Manager
Vanessa joined Presence as a part-time staff since 2012.  She oversees organizational administration, HR, accounting, and the assessment development of Presence Possibilities. She was born in Hong Kong and went to Canada when she was twelve. She graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Toronto. She subsequently obtained two Canadian professional accounting designations, CMA and CGA. She has 16 years of working experience in Hong Kong as an auditor in CPA firms, an operations analyst in a U.S. listed company, and a management accountant in a conglomerate. She moved to California in 2011 and is fulfilling her calling as a pastor’s wife.

Dr. Ning & Mrs. Rosa Sizto

Northern California Ministry Coordinators & Presence Possibilities Project Managers

Ning has a PhD in Physiology, and a M.S. in Computer Science.  He has worked as a software engineer in the biotechnology field for more than 25 years.  He is currently pursuing a certificate in Transformational Coaching at Western Seminary.  Rosa has an M.S. in Pediatric Nursing.  She home schooled their three children and has been involved in hotline and lay counseling ministries.  Ning & Rosa are passionate about strengthening marriages and families, and they have been involved in marriage and family ministries for around 20 years. They are a leader-couple for CFFC Marriage Enrichment Retreats and have helped organize their yearly Family Vacation Camp. They enjoy leading small groups, gardening, nature, and hiking.

Jennifer Wong

Family ministry consultant

Jennifer was graduated at Biola University with a Psychology degree. She had been in the jewelry business for over 20 yrs.  She accepted Christ as her Savior at 12 , and rededicated in the WCCCC , 1979.  She loves music, so she serves actively in her church as a choir member, a director and a pianist. She also teaches children & adult Sunday school. She is a good listener, so people will come to her to share and to be counseled. In her leisure time she enjoys shopping, reading, listening to hymns, singing, fellowship with friends & family.

Christine Shen

Presence Possibilities Events and Marketing Coordinator

Christine Shen graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors of Arts degree in English. In addition to working at Presence full-time, she co-teaches at a K-12 literacy development center on Saturdays and enjoys spending the remainder of her time building relationships with family, friends, going on adventures, blogging and developing children’s stories, or simply curling up with a good book or movie. She currently serves on her fellowship’s leadership team and is leading a small group of young adult women to grow in loving the Lord.

Wicy Zhang

Social Media Coordinator / Ministry Assistant

Wicy graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a B.A. in Communications where she concentrated more on photocommunications. She started out as a volunteer helping out with RE:NEW and is currently working on social media and assisting with photography, film, and ministry work here at Presence. She enjoys music and serves at her church as a worship leader. On her free time, she enjoys drawing, journaling, hanging out with her brother & friends, exploring, and loves to sleep.

Lily Ma

Publication Coordinator & Managing Editor

Lily has a BA degree from York University in Canada and graduated from China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong for her Master of Biblical Studies. She has been working as a high school teacher, Cantonese youth minister, and also in administrative capacities for both Christian and commercial organizations. She serves in music ministry and Sunday School at church, and enjoys singing, playing badminton and traveling.

Maggie Hui

Publication Coordinator

Maggie has a Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). She is a registered dietitian and worked as a supervisor for years at a government agency. Maggie has been a partner of Presence since the beginning. She was a trainer for the Youth Leadership Program and a Presence board member. After being married and becoming a mother, Maggie began participating in Presence’s workshops. Maggie currently serves as the Publication Coordinator of Presence. She serves in children ministry at church and enjoys watching movies and traveling.

Carol Li

Office Administrator and Multimedia Coordinator

Carol worked in administration for various companies before coming to Presence as a full-time staff in 2012. Having studied graphic design, she now also helps to produce many of Presence’s visual materials and video clips, and coordinate vision and audio system for events. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movie, singing, dancing and reading.

Joyce Cheng

Database Specialist

Joyce worked in the garment industry for 10 years and now works part-time to help organize Presence’s database. Currently, she is a homemaker who enjoys taking care of her children and family daily. She also enjoys volunteering in school and church, reading, sketching and outdoor activities.

Mary Hu

Mary moved to the US in 1982. She had then worked in a bank and had helped her husband in his online business. Prior to joining Presence as a part-time staff in early 2017, Mary was a Presence volunteer and was also involved with various nonprofit organizations. Outside of work, Mary attends BSF weekly and is a dedicated member of her church. Mary enjoys hiking, cooking, watching Chinese television drama and singing. It is Mary’s prayer that God will use her in her family, work, and personal relationships to glorify Him.

Monica Chan

Monica has been awarded the International professional makeup artist diploma in New York and HK.  She worked in logistic, skincare and makeup jobs for many years. While in Hong Kong, she has been involved in Girl Scouts, was a team leader on the Red Cross Youth team, and served in children’s Sunday school for kids many years.  She enjoys painting, travelling, aerobic exercise and homemade HK-style desserts. Monica now works part-time as Presence’s social media and ministry assistant where she hopes to dedicate all of her work to God.

Judd Hu

Community Outreach Coordinator

Judd Hu does marketing for Presence Quotient both locally and internationally. Prior to joining Presence Quotient, he worked as an entrepreneur in the import/export industry since 2006 and spent almost two years church planting in China. He is currently a Biblical Studies student at Azusa Pacific University. Aside from work, studies, and ministry, Judd is a soccer fan, triathlete, and world traveler.

Denise Ho

Denise Ho currently does contract work for Presence and oversees all film production projects as RE:NEW’s Multimedia Specialist. She leads worship at her church and volunteers at a small afterschool program in Pomona during her free time.
